Coleton McCoy is an Illinois-based baritone pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. 

Before studying classical voice, he sang in his high school choir and discovered his love of singing through musical theatre. He has appeared as Sky Masterson (Guys & Dolls), Orin Scrivello (Little Shop of Horrors), and understudied Edward Bloom (Big Fish). This background continues to shape his approach to storytelling, physical movement, and character on stage.

Since beginning his studies at Wheaton, he has appeared as Sergeant Belcore (L’elisir D’amore) and Dick Deadeye (H.M.S. Pinafore) with the Wheaton College Opera Mainstage program. Through Wheaton's Opera Scenes program, he has also performed excerpts as Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Leporello (Don Giovanni), and Masetto (Don Giovanni).

Coleton values thorough preparation, clear communication, and professionalism. He believes that these qualities create the freedom to collaborate, respond to direction, and focus on meaningful storytelling in rehearsal and performance.
